Job alert: Eco-epidemiology of bee decline (INRA, France)
07.02.2013

Studies on the decline of honey bees highlight multifactorial causes. In collaboration with a team of modellers, the researcher will develop models in order to better know and prioritize risk factors, as well as action models aimed at beekeeping professionals. This includes a) studying the spatio-temporal dynamics of the etiological factors of honey bee losses by integrating genomic, physiological, behavioural, pathological and ecotoxicological parameters and their interactions, b) developing spatial-epidemiology tools. Skills in statistics applied to the eco-epidemiological field will complement the skills of the research unit's biologists. Experience in epidemiology is wished.
